The parents of Shahzeb Khan have forgiven all the accused in the murder of their son.
Shahzeb Khan was gunned down by Shahrukh Jatoi on 25th December, 2012. The Anti Terrorism Court had awarded death sentence to Shahrukh Jatoi and Siraj Talpur, an accomplice of Shahrukh Jatoi on 7th June, 2013. Sajjad Talpur and Ghulam Murtaza Lashari, the other two suspects, were awarded life imprisonment sentences.
According to witnesses, Shahzeb Khan and Siraj Talpur had a fight against each other after Talpur's servant, Ghulam Murtaza Lashari, teased Shahzeb's sister.
Shahrukh Jatoi had filed an appeal in the Sindh High Court against the decision.
According to sources, Shahzeb's father, DSP Aurangzeb Khan, and his family relatives have submitted an application stating that he and his family have forgiven everyone involved in the murder of their son.
Shahzeb Khan's parents, Aurangzeb and Ambreen Khan, have said that they have forgiven the accused "in the name of Allah". The parents have also requested for their release.
